Fergus Falls fans get ready for the Otters quarterfinal game against Pequot Lakes. The FF crowd was loud and proud for all three games at the state tournament. It helped the girls and the pep band was on point. I did get a few comments from people that were impressed with the turnouts and the student section.

M State Baseball and Softball have gotten their respective seasons underway. Both teams played a series of games in Florida, during the middle of March. Weather will play a factor into any home games for M State over the first few weeks of April.
 
 
ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Otters Issac Johnson moves in the offensive zone during the section championship game, earlier this month. Johnson led Fergus Falls with 61 points on the season, 31 goals and 30 assists. He was tied for the section lead in total points, as well.
The Fergus Falls Otters girls basketball captured second place at the 2022 Class AA State Tournament. They defeated Pequot Lakes, 71-55, in quarterfinals, got by Minnehaha Academy, 69-57, in the semifinals and then lost 55-53 to Providence Academy, in the championship. The Otters finished with a 26-6 record on the season, with the second place finish being the highest in school history.
